Money Laundering

So past December 2007 was the deadliest for U.S. troops in the Iraq war theater. I guess that is why the Anchorage Daily Stool has decided to place the war news on the back burner. Blasphemy! The way Anthracites - a.k.a. residents of Anchorage in heat - shove dog shit in that orange plastic bag used to deliver the Daily Stool, may as well just leave the paper in the bag, as it is nothing short of just that, dog shit. It was front-page news for awhile, now it is hidden away somewhere. As the war has gone from a “hot” issue to a lukewarm thing of the past. Do we really care about crybaby Conoco over what is happening in Insane Hussein’s old stomping grounds? Americans get tired of more of the same. Answer me this, why is it that the military leaders in Iraq, our military leaders, still speak of a “coalition”. Is somebody fixing the books in efforts to indicate that the Brits are still around? Bottom line, there is no coalition today and in my book there has never existed a so-called coalition of the willing. The willing or able never showed up! With that in mind, we have without a doubt run the course all by ourselves. We started it, we struggle with it, we will try to end it with some semblance of achievement. Sure the Brits allowed some interest of a coalition to arrive on the scene, but the numbers speak for themselves. So why all of a sudden, when there is more emphasis and interest on the upcoming election has it appeared that things are calm in Baghdad? Wow, this is interesting and maybe it has to do with a Punzi pay-off scheme. Really, how else do you keep things cool, calm and collective? Money does speak. See this is why modern day Congress should be abolished. We can’t have station breaks wherein things happen and nobody is watching. It seems things have taken on a very spotty disposition during the holidays. Out-of-sight and out-of-mind mentality, like who is watching the henhouse – NOBODY! See, the head military guy in charge over there in Iraq was told to get things under control when it was discovered that the only reason the surge looked as though it was working was the fact that we were loosing a bunch of young Americans – at alarming rates and aiming up towards a wartime all time high. Nothing is worth loosing a bunch of troops over, unless it is an invasion here in the states. Alaska has already been invaded and lost the war, with “Big Oil” that is. They continue to pillage our resources, and rape our resources and kill off any incentive to give back what is rightfully ours to begin with – the resources. Hey, are we winning or loosing? The Iraq war that is. Now this surge thing that was surging the death toll would have been bad business for sitting duck senators running for George’s position. In fact it was also bad for George’s one page memoir, as all the other pages will be “Intentionally Left Blank”. Hey, a one-pager meets the government’s paper-work reduction act, so at least in the memoir department George the Rat will be considered a “Greeny”! Anyway, for some back here on friendly territory, the calm wasn’t worth the pain – that of sending our kids home in a wooden box. So how else does one get control? How does one keep the so far surge success on that same track but not at the expense of lives? Expense it is the key. Money laundering it is called in my book. Officially, it is called the CLC, for Concerned Local Citizens. Basically, somebody in their infinitive wisdom has decided to pay-off the insurgents so they have something better to do then kill off our troops. It is the worse possible exit strategy one could conceive. But it has nothing to do with an exit. Like one high-ranking official was quoted, “We could do this for the next 12-years”. In a nutshell, how this nutcase hell works. Supply a would be or would be wannabe insurgent with an American made AK-whatever, a few clips of ammo, some camouflage protective gear and pay him or her to maintain a protective stance. Now wait just a minute. These are the insurgents, made up of Al-kaida, El-Briba and anybody else that had a vendetta against George Bush. So now somebody in their infinite wisdom has decided that it is cheaper to payroll the terrorists, at least until the money dries up, which by my calculation it is to run dry about November's election day, just in time for Bush to retire to Crawford and be able to say, "It was calm yesterday in Baghdad, can’t blame me for what is happening today." Now why wasn’t this fandangle plan hatched a long time ago. It would have saved us a bunch of money, as before insurgents it was that other terrorist group on the U.S. payroll, an outfit called Black-Water. So we paid for the invasion, we paid for the war, we are now paying for the thugs to leave us alone and when we finally are allowed to leave, we will pay for re-construction efforts that according to the Hail-Burton timetable, it will never be a “mission accomplished”, but a “mission demonstrative” that will make people rich and provide insurgents a job for life. Sounds just like a politician's campaign speech! Pure crap. “America, where are you now, don’t you care about your sons and daughters”, and presidential kickbacks. That is all this is, but a demonstration that George Bush was stubborn, killed kids and wasted a bunch of money. Not his money, as he has no idea what it is like to be a true blue American. He did get his hands dirty, once, with this war, with the blood of the innocent. What a memoir it will be, pure blasphemy and that red stuff, it isn’t ink!
