This is an update to the
“Petition” to rename the Ted Stevens International Airport
located in Anchorage, Alaska to that of a “True” Alaskan Hero,
namely changing the name to honor Susan Butcher and forever taking
away its current name holder, a disgrace to Alaska. To date, the
petition has received well over 550000 signatures! But due the fact
that many “outsiders” want the name changed, we are taking time
to make sure only “Qualified” Alaskans are so named on the
petition before it gets sent to Juneau. There has come an
over-whelming response and support for this “Petition”, as Susan
had a world-wide fan-club and was an honest Alaskan that deserves
what this petition has set out to do. We are hoping that the
“Petition” can be delivered soon and we already have a date set
before the state legislatures to here out this petition and its
merits and so far we see no road-blocks to the name change. Thanks
for the support in honor of this true Alaskan hero!
