Teach Your Children Hell

OK, so the New England Patriots are under the investigative snoop, that the footballs used during the AFC playoff championship games at Boston Patriots home-town Gillette Stadium were purposely deflated? Big deal, as it was the same damn ball both sides were using, so what advantage? That's what the experts are saying, even though the NFL is indeed ramping up an investigation from complaints filed by angry COLT fans. Well here is how it works. If New England's Brady had practiced with “under-infuriated” footballs, knowing that during Sunday's game that would be the case, therein exists the problem. That is wherein the unfair advantage takes place, as Mr. Luck had no idea what may be going on and had not enough time to adjust his game throwing skills. But who learns from who? See, there is no “Foul Play”, as the game must go on, even if New England is guilty of a crime. Crime? It's called “poor sportsmanship”, which used to be a crime but somehow was banned form the “Halls Of Jock Justice”. Said again, it appears total immunity is what it's all about, a measly fine maybe sometime next year, but even though Belichick may have cheated his way - how many times - to the Super Bowl, no big deal. It is all about winning the game, no matter what it takes as there is no punishment for a crime, except if you loose! Sounds just like, the United States Congress! So, asked again, does the sporting world lead by example, or find dereliction by example? Tough question, but maybe if Congress deflated their egos, then maybe we would have a chance at a win!

You who are on the road
Must have a code, you try to live by
And so become yourself
Because the past is just a goodbye

Teach your children well
Their father's hell did slowly go by
Feed them on your dreams
The one they fix, the one you'll know by

Don't you ever ask them why
If they told you, you would cry
So just look at them and sigh
And know they love you

And you of tender years
Can't know the fears that your elders grew by
Help them with your youth
They seek the truth before they can die

Teach your parents well
Their children's hell will slowly go by
And feed them on your dreams
The one they fix, the one you'll know by

Don't you ever ask them why
If they told you, you would cry
So just look at them and sigh
And know they love you

Don't you ever ask them why
If they told you, you would cry
So just look at them and sigh
And know they love you

And know they love you
And know they love you, yeah
And know they love you
